Our Vision
Our vision statement is "Success for All."
At Cottage Grove Primary School, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, achieve and flourish. Our vision, Success for All, reflects our unwavering commitment to ensuring that every pupil, regardless of their starting point, background or individual needs, is supported to reach their full potential.
We strive to create an inclusive, ambitious and nurturing environment where high expectations, excellent teaching and strong relationships enable all children to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to succeed. We celebrate effort, resilience and personal growth alongside academic achievement, recognising that success looks different for every child.
By working in partnership with families, staff and the wider community, we aim to inspire a lifelong love of learning, foster positive character traits and prepare our pupils to become responsible, respectful and successful citizens who make a positive contribution to the world around them.
Success for All means every child known, every child valued and every child achieving their very best.
Our Values
Values that shape every part of our lives.
We follow these values across all that we do in school. Assemblies link to these themes and our curriculum makes strong references to these values.
These values also run through the way in which we support children with their behaviour, including the restorative approach we due to resolving conflict
Acceptance
We are thoughtful of those around us and learn and play in harmony. We understand and accept that we are all different and we show tolerance to others.
Perseverance
We keep trying with our learning and our friendships, even when things get really hard. We challenge ourselves and those around us to do better and achieve our dreams in the belief that everything is possible.
Respect
We respect other people’s views and are always polite. We care for each other and our environment.
Independence
We take responsibility for our own learning and behaviour. We find our solutions to help us solve our problems.
Achievement
We have high aspirations, always do our best and help others to do their best. We like to celebrate our success.
